Marc Alan Lee was the first Navy SEAL to lose his life in Operation Iraqi Freedom. In honor of her son, Debbie Lee founded America's Mighty Warriors which provides programs that improve quality of life, resiliency, and recovery to the fallen and their families. The organization works tirelessly to ensure that our troops and Gold Star families have access to the support that they deserve after injury or loss.
Here with HOPE's mission is to offer guidance and support to families of children fighting cancer by striving to create a community of assistance, lending support through financial, community, and emotional help. Each family receives personalized attention and a “helping hand” to guide them with the many challenges they face outside the hospital, including a team to champion their daily needs and housing opportunities to allow them to focus on what is most important to them—the health of their child. 100% of Here with HOPE's assistance comes from fundraising efforts throughout the year.
Rady Children's Hospital ranks among the top pediatric hospitals in the country and relies on donations to provide world-class care to each child who needs it. As a leader in clinical research, the Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders provides outstanding specialized cancer treatment and hematology services, including blood and bone marrow transplants, giving children and families the best hope for a cure. The Peckham Center also offers a full range of clinical services, psychosocial programs, and resources to help patients and their families—from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
